Eligibility For Admission

Qualification generally required for admission to Degree Courses
A pass in the VHSE/ THSE/ PLUS 2/ PDC. of the State or equivalent qualification approved by the University of Kerala.        

Specific Qualification prescribed for various Courses           

B.Sc. Electronics	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Physics as one of the subjects
B.Sc. Com.Science	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Physics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science
BCA	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects
B.Sc. Botany and Biotechnology	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Biology as one of the subjects
B.Com. Tourism & Travel Management	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Commerce Group or other subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
B.Com. 3years	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Commerce Group or other subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
B.Com . Computer Application	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Commerce Group or other subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
BBA	Plus Two/ VHSE/THS/equivalent with Commerce Group or other subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
BA Communicative English	Plus Two / equivalent
M.Sc Electronics	B.Sc Electronics/ Physics from a recognized University
M.Com Finance	B.Com/ BBA/ BBS/ BBM from a recognized University

Mode of Selection

Selection of Candidates for admission is made in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University and the Government of Kerala.

Eligibility Certificate

Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from the University or Boards outside the state of Kerala should furnish along with the application a copy of the Eligibility Certificate obtained from the University of Kerala.

Migration Certificate

A student admitted to the College from other University should produce a Migration Certificate as early as possible.

Application Form

Application form together with the copy of prospectus can be had from the College office on all working days on payment of Rs. 100/- either directly or by post against a D.D. for Rs.130/- in favour of the Principal, K.V.V.S College of Science and Technology, Kaithaparambu payable at S.B.T. Parakode Branch or Federal Bank, Parakode Branch, Adoor.
A separate application should also be submitted for the purpose of getting admission in the management quota. The application form is available for an additional payment of Rs. 10/-
The duly filled -in application form along with a self addressed post card should reach the Principal on or before the last date for submitting the application, along with copies of certificates.

Interview

Candidates provisionally selected for admission will be required to appear for an interview before the Principal on a specified date and time. Those who fail to turn up for the interview will lose the chance of admission. No interview will be held unless the candidate is accompanied by his/ her parent or guardian.

Documents to Produce

1. S.S.L.C.Book.
2. Original Mark list of the qualifying examination
3. T.C and Conduct certificate from the institution last studied.
4. Eligibility certificate from the University of Kerala by the candidates who have studied outside the State of Kerala.
5. Four copies of stamp size photographs of the candidates.

Note :- Candidates should keep with them sufficient number of attested copies of certificates submitted to the College.

Enrolment

Provisionally selected candidates will be enrolled only on payment of the 1st installment of fees along with all special fees.
If, a candidate leaves the college after enrolment, he/she will not be eligible for refund of fees.

Course discontinuation

If a student seeks for discontinuing the course during the acadmic period, he or she should pay the entire tuition fee of three years and a demurrage of Rs. 30000/ before issuing the TC.
